I agree with you. I don't see how a business hopes to thrive anyway without some degree of customer service. Service is what it truly is all about. When I stop in at at Walgreens around here, I go to the one who has the friendlier helpful people. Why even waste time going in a store where you have to search for someone and that someone be grumpy etc.

Then you do get the opposite. The very nice gentleman who helped us in H.D. yesterday stayed around and we were able to acquire several of his life stories and tips :) Joe is thinking... "come on, let's get on with what we came in here for"... I am thinking, "hummmm I may get a good story out of this".... but when I saw the tiny hairs on the back of Joe's neck begin to tense I knew it was time to stop the 'palaver' ;)... hehehe
