i have to say that I haven't noticed the difference in light since I changed to fluorescents, but I have noticed the drop in my Electric bill.

Heh! Heh! Ya, if we follow their hysterical solutions to a 'T' it wouldn't be long before most of the globe would be producing massive amounts of methane. That's because there would be untold tens of millions of bloated corpses covering the landscape. Their solutions would almost guarantee a complete collapse of the global economy along with the inability to adequately feed even a tiny percentage of the earth's population. But hey, once we're all dead there'd be no more man made pollution. :-\|
