I think that most scientists are telling us is that global warming occurs & within that community of knowledge are thoughts that we are fast approaching the point of 'no return', or it will take more than 100 years to fix the problems associated with global warming, or it may be too late. they do not know to what degree of certainty but they are telling us that there are problems & it will get worst & we better start doing something about it very soon. you cannot dismiss the arrogance of some people in regards to qualifying something not fully understood. the unfortunate nay- sayers see one healthy weed in a sickly stand of trees proudly proclaiming that there is no proof of global warming. little do they realize that catastrophic cause & effect scenarios are in progress with our earth warming. despite our advances in science the nay- sayers go forward with life picking & choosing what they want to believe, avoiding the more holistic observations & resulting viewpoints of the scientific community. the nay- sayer goes forth in life with rose colored glasses on ever threatening cloudy horizons.
