"Mormons worship the same God as Christians, even though the have a strange story to tell about the beginning of thier religion. I find it hard to believe that Joe Smith had a bunch of solid gold plates, wrote what was on them on paper, and then lost the gold."

I too have, ...er, skepticism about that particular claim. (Seems more then a bit convenient that he only forgot when he was challenged for some proof. :-)

Also... I don't recall seeing the 'Angel Moroni' in the Bible anywhere... so I actually *do* have some doubts that Mormonism would qualify for 'Christian' any more then Islam would (Islam, too, shares many of the same Judaeo/Christian Prophets, Patriarchs, etc., from Abraham to Jesus... but I'd hardly argue that they 'were' 'Christian' because of it. :-)

"Wiccan ...worship no God, but worship satan."

Actually, no, they don't. (No on both of those claims.) At least, not according to to the Wiccan Church, or the US Government....

"Greek Orthodox... etc., etc."

Thanks for the descriptions of all... but I notice that the *one* thing you dodged was answering the simple question I asked:

Which of all these religions & sects (Native American pre-Christian, etc.) are, in your opinion, 'worshiping fake Gods', and therefore their followers are forever denied entrance to Casa Haqihana, like you said?

Seems simple enough.... :-)

I was born and baptised a Lutheran, went to Catholic Boarding school first two years of my schooling, then ultimately joined a boy scout troop in a Presbyterian Church and became a Presbyterian finally married a Catholic and became a Catholic. In between spent couple of years in a Methodist Church. Sang in Billy Graham's choir for a period. So, I think its fair to say I have had at least a smathering of experience in many Christian religions. To me they are all pretty similar. What sets the Catholic religion apart is the ability to confess ones sins (though its not really pushed anymore, ie unless you have something REALLY BIG to confess its not necessary to go in there and mutter some nonsense about kissing Sally behind the school and cussing out the teacher anymore). The Pope is supposed to represent IMHO Peter, the first Pope of CHRISTIANITY and the word Catholic I think comes from Greek meaning WHOLE. Ever since 1963 the Catholic church has modernized and pretty much the same IMHO as Protestant religions (though we place Mary and Joseph probably higher up the ladder then they do). I guess what I am trying to say is that there is nothing funny going on in the Catholic Religion and really no different then the others. IMHO ALL the Christian religions need to UNITE to present a united front against the Muslim religion which is at war against us all. jdn
