Not going to do anything? What is this? Some sort of false dichotomy? It's war or ....nothing? I don't think so. I don't think most of the democrats promised to actually end the war. They promised to try to extricate us from it- some of them promising a quicker extrication than others. Bush, by wanting a surge, has graciously given the democrats an out. To give the president "every chance", they must support his surge? Right? If they don't, I know those dear Reps will blame them for "losing" the war. I say, give Bush what he wants, and let 2008 be a referendum on it :-) Bring it on baby.

Look at how many people voted democrat believing the democrats would actually carry out their campaign promise of ending the Iraq war. Shame on those Dems.....been in office one month and haven't ended the war!! You win for making most asinine comment thus far today.
