I love watching the angst of the congressional Republicans! Realizing that the surge is the very last shot the Bushies get, AND realizing it will fail, dooming them at the polls in 2008 and in the Presidential! Bush doesn't care. He's GONE by then, bicycling and cutting brush in Crawford, and will have succeeded in not "losing" his pet war while in office. And will have destroyed the Republican party.
