The oil industry needs to be broken up and regulated. It has been a huge shadow government since 2000. We have no control over it unless we TAKE control. It will entail strong leaders and even stronger people behind them.

Not going to happen. The capital costs are extremely high, the margins are not so great and the possibility of peak oil soon means they might not be able to get enough oil to make any margin possible. Big costs, big risks, low margin. Not a mix that is going to attract new companies.
