Kerry was a weak candidate. It's probably best he wasn;t elected as I don't know that he could have gotten us out of the war up against a Rep controlled Congress. Two terms gives Bush more time to decimate the Republican party and expose its full incompetence, stupidity and corruption. Two terms gives the public a chance to figure out the extent to which they've been dumbed down by right-wing propaganda. I hate, however, that the Dems are going to inherit such a mess in terms of the war and this monstrous amount of debt just as the boomers start to draw on SS and Medicare.
