Ichy, If the USA and Iran have been at war since the embassy was seized, then why did the Regan admin send them all those weapons during Iran-Contra? Wouldn't it be treason to send weapons to someone you were at war with? Surely Regain, Bush Sr, North, Poindexter, Abrahms, etc didn't commit treason. when iran invaded the US Embassy and held diplomats for ransom, they committed an act of war, and that war has never been settled ... While a state of war exists, you have to expect the US to act as if the two countries were at war.
