My post would really turn to vitriol if I did. And this is a moderate thread. :)

At a minimum, I am glad we keep it civil and skip the personal attacks on people here or posters elsewhere on SI. The latter is real playground stuff but some people get off on it.

I know.

I just don't think it's a good idea to mention specific threads. People can take that very personally- and many people assume the remarks apply to them, even when they don't. I try to do refer to threads or other posters only when I'm saying something positive- although I am sure I have erred from time to time. But it is error to do it, imo.
