I think it's great to bring posts that are really superior to this thread as you have done with Cyndwllr.... whom I consider one of the most outstanding if not thee most outstanding poster on all of S.I. He says it all and not only concisely but like a Masters Thesis... with conviction,knowledge and heart. Besides what he says I always agree with and that does help doesn't it ? (:)

At a minimum, I am glad we keep it civil and skip the personal attacks on people here or posters elsewhere on SI. The latter is real playground stuff but some people get off on it. Most of the threads on SI are moderated by people on the right. Moderate posters are ganged up on and sometimes feel threatened. There are moderate posters on those threads that are almost held hostage until they accommodate their views - akin to the Stockholm Syndrome. For them there is no place to go. This thread is too moderate. For many, it is like preaching to the converted. Encourage some of the misguided to come in and let the conversation begin.
