You speak of liberal fairy tales.

The UN has no legal jurisdiction over what the US does.
Or anybody for that matter.

Participating parties come to agreements and treaties, and agree to abide in good faith. Its a choice made by countries, but they still have their own legal systems.

There is no international "law" in the true sense of the word.

It's this and the previous administrations position that per our AGREEMENT we did not need to go back to the UN to invade Iraq because of the default to the original cease fire agreement.

You and the UN can disagree with that...but its not illegal because there is no such "law".

What you call "law" is merely political opinion disguised under a different name. The irony is that such tactics water down its legitimacy, they do not empower it.

Except to the ignorant, perhaps.
