Then you misread my post completely if that's what you got from it. But that's the way SI is. One is doomed to forever being told one said something one did not. I was talking about the safety of society. It wasn't just about my kid. Law and order. Never would have thought you'd be arguing against law and order. Go figure "It's not a playground out there. It's survival. You can be sure the other side is not hoping to lose so its kid can learn a lesson." Was the ship analogy only imperfect because it was such a good setup for me? I found it quite a lovely analogy, myself.
