Well, it's 2007. What does your crystal ball say for the future?

The big item on the agenda is keeping Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, by diplomacy if possible, by force, if need be.

I am sure you have no problem with this goal if it is achieved through diplomacy.

The question is, in an imperfect world, is it better to use military force to keep Iran from building nuclear weapons, or not?

Because I see a tremendous down side to doing nothing.

Maybe you can explain why I'm wrong, and Iran armed with nuclear weapons is no big deal.

Well, I did, although a bit late in the day. And I listened to Rambi when she recommended a couple of interesting books by Sandra MacKey. The information was out there for those who were willing to look for it.
