About five years ago I was in Denver and ate at a restaurant that is supposed to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest, in town.

Buckhorn Exchange I believe?

As I recall, the steak was quite good.

I think, however, you're paying more for the ambience.

Let us know...if it's good. Maybe there will be one here. Ruth Chris' is good here, and so is Daniel's, but both are very good, and REALLY expensive! The Outback is good, but the ambiance is more stark than we like for a night out. Then we have the Keg which is more casual and fine too.... We tend not to have steak too much anymore, because if I eat it after 8, it keeps me up most of the night...too heavy...
