Unfortunately Canada is far more left wing than the US, Americans would have to accept our cradle to grave care for the inept, the inane and the lazy. We now have generations of people who have lived and will continue to live on welfare. And our healthcare system is rife with waste, and unavailable to almost everyone, but politicians and sports figures get immediate attention.

My family once owned a small island in Ontario so I can understand what you are saying

I used to go fishing on the Rideau in Ontario once a year in September with my father and a bunch of guys, just north of Kingston. Great place. The locks are terrific history, too. Chaffeys is my favorite.

I got a huge pike out of Clear Lake in 1991. I thought I was stuck on the bottom of the lake.
