Obama or not, the outcome of Iraq will be clear by fall of this year. With Putin blasting US foreign yesterday, it is possible that he will provide covert support (maybe via the Cechnyan rebels) to the Iraqi insurgents. Bush's escalation is not only a sore point with the American people, but it is becoming one with the people of the world also and the world nations are not going to standby and watch as Bush lays out his grand designs to dominate the world with his military might. The military escalation is a "no-no" and Bush is going to pay a price for it.
