Everyone under 25 in Iran has only known the mullahs to be in power. In 15 years the whole idea of not living under mullahs will be foreign to Iran. If it were going to implode due to mullah rule, it would have already.

Not quite sure that's true. Familiarity breeds contempt, especially when you toss 20% unemployment (by some estimates up to 50% among those under 30) and 20% inflation into the picture. Iran isn't North Korea, either: satellite TV is common, the internet is available, and there's a lot of communication with the many Iranians abroad.

Did you note the report coming from Iran's Parliament, predicting social unrest if sanctions were imposed?
