Here's an interesting stock. bont, Bon Ton stores. This is a retailer of regional department stores that made a sizeable acquisition from Saks last year. Comps are mid single digits while revenue and profits are growing strongly due to the acquisition. There is only 7 million shares in float and 2 million are short. The stock recently blasted out of a triangle and the shorts haven't covered. They are totally screwed. They are so certain that a highly indebted regional department store chain is hosed in a housing slowdown that they are digging in. This is one of my favorite situations. The stock is due for a pullback but is buyable as long as the uptrend remains in place. At only 13 times forward earnings, this stock can easily move another 30% higher while the shorts cry uncle.

All are welcome to post if they have good, logical ideas whether they be bearish or bullish. My hope though is that the most established, well credentialed SI posters frequent the board and share their ideas. Also if you know good jokes, it helps. -g-
