re: Never said that. So take your straw man somewhere else. It is just that if you have identified a scam that the authorities haven't, then, as a good citizen, you should report it. I have reported scams to the FBI before. Why don't you?

Forget it CJ. If it isn't part of the religious right agenda then it's meaningless or a scam to Ten. You can only do good things if you are "born again"; everybody else is an insincere elite.

CJ, > Never said that. So take your straw man somewhere else. It is just that if you have identified a scam that the authorities haven't, then, as a good citizen, you should report it.

There are a lot of legalized scams out on the market. "Free money" home loans, prescription drugs advertised directly to consumers, pump-n-dump stock analysts, etc. Heck, one time I was even the victim of a scam on eBay. Reported it, but got no response. Bottom line, though, is that I don't have time to report to the FBI every single scam that I see.

But that's not the point. My point is that you are trying to avoid the issue I bring up. If I don't report something, does that mean it isn't a scam? Or is it just a lame attempt on your part to avoid debate?

After all, you brought up the fact that Al Gore purchased "carbon credits." This was obviously an attempt to absolve him of any hypocrisy in his crusade against global warming. Now you prove to me that those "carbon credits" are worth anything more than the (recycled) paper they are printed on. Don't feel like it? Then just say so. I can understand.
