I believe both are possible, but very risky and difficult.
Focussing on supplies is our best hope for a positive outcome
longer term.

Flushing Out: Iraqis know who is who. Americans need to focus on the support role. If we can do a good job of supporting and ... If and when the Iraqi Nationals want that to work, it will.

Supply Lines: Supply lines coming from outside of Iraq involve more than strategies on the ground.

With 60+ percent of Iraqis agreeing that it's ok to kill Americans: That means something different depending on how the question is posed to Iraqis. Is it OK to kill someone threatening your existence, or your way of life, or that of a friend or loved one??? Most of us would answer in the affirmative and that is how the question is presented to most Iraqis. As such, I am not sure the data is genuinely useful in the current context.
