as i remember it clinton was tied up , couldn't do a thing unless he adopt some compromise with congress who had written contract and items to get done. he knew they had the people behind them so basically he joined them and took the contract as his ideas and he implemented them , and he improved the economy. i would say the congress Bush got is nothing compared to who represented us when Clinton was in office. At least that congress did something.

I sad clinton did not give anything...and he didn'y. Without the congress, he would have been totally ineffective.

What are you talking about the Bush could not work with congress?

to name a few.

Congress (including shillary) voted to support the President's action in Iraq.

Tax cuts to put the economy back on track plus.

No child left behind

Tougher law for corporate criminals

Better tax credits and Education IRas for families

Prescription drug benefits.
