In any asset class once the momentum starts, the losers are usually the ones who sell too early...selling stocks in 1998, selling one's house in 2003....etc.

Problem is that this party hasn't even started as far as I am concerned in the developed world (EM is nicely valued, but not frothy either).

I can't paint any targets or deadlines, but I can look at the fundamentals as I understand them and as I have backtested them.

Da Cheif's target of 18-20k on the Dow is as good as any I have heard.

Though ultimately being married to any target or timeframe is also dangerous. Just take it day by day, week by week, month by month and let the market make money for you through smart, aggressive allocation.

That's my philosophy. I have made exactly 1 trade this whole year amd I'm already up 4-5% on my entire portfolio.
