It's pretty clear to me what the intention of the phrase "wiping Israel off the map" is. Yet I hear people continuing to live in denial as they "nuance" the phrase away. Look, YOU brought up 'wiping Israel off the map', not me. I just pointed out that my proposed peace plan would result in the Jewish nation of Israel no longer existing (it would be replaced by a new nation for all ethnicities that live in that region). If YOU want to call that wiping Israel off the map, that's YOUR choice. If YOU don't like the nuances implied in the phrase "wipe Israel off them map", then YOU shouldn't use it. I have never introduced that phrase in any discourse, because it sounds horrible. So don't get all hoity toity with me because you don't like the nuances in the phrases that you yourself introduced into the discussion. Sheesh! This isn't some academic exercise, Elroy. This is an ideological war on the part of those who would use any means necessary to advance their own beliefs. Well, "this" is a free form discussion board for ideas. I've put out my idea for how to bring peace to the Israel-Pal situation. If you don't think it would work, that's one thing, I'd be interested to read your explanation as to why not, and why the status quo which has produced 60 years of warfare with NO end in sight, is preferable. As for using force to advance one's ideology, yeah, if I had more power and time I would use it toward implementing my plan to make the Israel-Pal a shared territory where all men can lives as equals. That's how places should be, and not just Israel-Pal, but everywhere on the planet. Institutionalized equality is good. Institutionalised discrimination is bad. It's not that crazy a concept for Americans. You've never even said whether you think my plan would work or not, you just go on about "nuances" and that crap.
