Pete, one employee gets paid more for the same kind of work than another.

One traveler on a flight pays less than another traveler on the same flight.

One buyer of a car pays less than another buyer of the same car at the same dealership by the same dealer.

And one customer of a supplier pays less for X amount of product than another customer of the same supplier for the same amount of the same product.

That's life. That's the free market. And no amount of patronizing on your part is going to change that reality.

"Then your opinions are bogus. AMD's interpretation is correct. You can't give a different discount schedule for each company. You can have only one universal discount schedule that all companies use."

This "universal discount schedule" makes me happy, again and again, really.

Of course you can depending on volume and customer - equipment makers have done it all the time.
Even the volume discount can vary according to customer- Intel's volume discount from certain suppliers might be different than what AMD might get from the same vendor.
That's life

Pete,

You are way off base. I know you like to think that a universal discount schedule is the "right, democratic" thing to do, but absolutely no one does that. I supply the same product to over 1000 companies and anyone who needs a separate discount gets it.
