2/23/07 Update
Both the Nasdaq Biotech Index and the Charity Contest portfolio median were up for the week, with the Contest portfolios doing a bit better than the NBI. At Friday's close, the NBI had a YTD gain of 3.53% (vs. up 3.25% YTD at the prior Friday's close), while the Contest portfolio median finished with a 4.01% YTD gain (vs. up 2.82% YTD at the prior Friday's close). At Friday's closing bell, 21 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black and 16 of the 31 were beating the NBI.
Although off a few percent for the week, my own portfolio remained in the top spot, up 31.7% YTD. Wilder's portfolio held on to the No. 2 position with a 23.1% YTD gain and Biofish's portfolio, goosed by COR, took third place with 20.8% YTD gain.
