"given the threat" Yeah, right...LOL. Afghanistan was a "terrorist threat", Iraq was WAY down on the list in that category. They threw in the "spurious" terrorism thing as a little "kicker" for their WMD rant. If they were gonna invade somebody in the Middle East because of terrorism, it would have been Iran and NOT Iraq. Iraq was Nation Building and Middle East Building and nothing more. The ONLY Administration in the last 4 that has run a surplus had a Democrat as the President. Maybe that wouldn't be the case if the Democrats controlled the White House and also Congress, but I DOUBT it could get any worse than it's been the last 6 years.
