I think we should stay away from anyone wearing winter garb when its warm out. How do we tell a muslim from a christian, or an arab from an hispanic or a chasidic Jew from an Amish person and so on. For the most part american moslems are not the same as those disaffected moslems in europe. There is social mobility here and no history of persecution or discrimination. Go to Brooklyn and watch arab and orthodox jew shop together. Oh i am sure they would get into it on israel as we do here but as americans we can argue our respective cases without resorting to violence, much less terrorism.
Thats not to say that a foreign element doesnt exist here. It certainly existed in those mosques in several new jersey locations and they need to be watched closely. The blind sheik developed a network there and i for one remember the footage of muslims cheering in Jersey City when the WTC came down. BTW, the tv stations only showed that once and then all that footage was removed and never seen again. I am not sure whether they were duped into showing footage from elsewhere or footage from a JC rally at another time. Or did the govt quash this so as to prevent an anti-moslem backlash in the US. All those bush-haters out there would be shocked if it was the bush admin who stood in the forefront in not going down the FDR road toward internment.
