I haven't seen this much America hatred since the VN war. The European Socialists have been so very, very successful in turning her own people against her.

Since no American interests have been hit since 9/11, I know it is hard for some to understand that we are fighting a war to preserve our very way of life. And I know that some people just hate this nation and GWB so much that they'd rather not think about the consequences of leaving Iraq, but some of us born and bred Americans see this as a terrible capitulation. Understand that if we leave that nation.......this so called "new breeding ground of terror" which we did not create but has been in existence long before any of us were born.........all of its resources will belong to our enemy. We will be helpless to stop the advancement of the whole region being devoured by fanatics....murdering fanatics who's only desire is to see our nation destroyed. A murderous spree that makes the killing fields of Cambodia look tame in comparison will ensue and those individuals in congress who vote to withdraw will be responsible.

If that is what the so called anti-war crowd wish then so be it, but don't expect those of us who see this situation in a whole other light to praise and honor those cowards in congress who have gone out of their way to weaken the U.S. and give in to the enemy.

In our eyes, that is EXACTLY what they have done.

I wish just one of those cowards would answer this question: where do you suggest we (by that I mean all freedom loving and democracy oriented nations) fight this WOT?

I believe that the representatives who voted for this resolution today are traitors to their pledge to protect and defend me, my family and my nation.

And I couldn't care less whether you like it or not.

The CIA confirms that Iraq is worse than it was (if the evidence of huge bombings every day didn't already confirm that

Worse for whom? Ask the Kurds or the Marsh Arabs, see what response you get. I do realize it's tidier for outside powers when order is maintained by a dictator quietly shovelling the bodies into mass graves "legally".

The CIA is doing what it does best - covering its own sorry a-- by attacking its enemies in the Bush administration. Otherwise, people might remember whose intelligence estimates convinced Bush that we had to go to war. All this stuff brought up afterwards about the Bush administration "cherry-picking" evidence is strictly CYA on the CIA's part. Tenet told Bush it was a "slam-dunk case" for Saddam's WMDs, remember? Was Bush supposed to ignore what the head of the CIA told him?

Every single statement that you see today from the CIA must be viewed in this light. They are far, far from disinterested players.
