The ENTIRE Middle East had better come to at least the 20th Century, or they will disolve themselves. We have people in this country, who have ancestors from every single part of the world. Most of the time, we get along.

We don't send suicide bombers to our neighbors. I for one, am really tired of the constant hammering on the Jews. If you want to go back far enough, the Jews were probably there in the Middle East first.

What I notice about the countries in the Middle East is what they have done with the land they have. And did they do it by themselves, or have they had help? If so, how much help, and when? What has Palestine done? What has Israel done? What has Syria done? Saudi? Egypt? Jordan? etc etc....

What standard of living does each individual citizen have in each country?

Elroy, have you ever read a history of the actual creation of Israel? The Zionists tried very hard over a period of 75 years before 1948 to buy and build and country. They came with cash and labor, not an army.

It came to war when the Zionists ran into the Arab program of "NO". The Zionists declined to be wiped out or driven out, which is what would have happened if the Arabs had won in 1948.

There would have been no Arab "Palestine" either. No Arab had such an idea in his head back then. The land of Palestine would have been split up between the conquering Arab countries, after it had been rendered entirely Jew-free - which is precisely what did happen to those parts of Palestine conquered by Egypt and Transjordan.
