While Lazlo may have been partially correct (he was speculating, wasn't he?) I doubt that any analyst or the firm they work for would, today, engage in the type of collusion he suggests. In light of the crescendo of legal repercussions for many firms over the last few years, no one would be dumb enough to play that game, imo.

I should have added that you can always go to the IV CWEI board and ask tidewaterborn what goes on with the big WS firms. He worked there for 20 years, but turned down offers to work on the slimy side.
