So this is a definite PLUS for the Bush Administration - putting more money in consumer pockets and less money paid to the foreigners buying our bonds. I think 15% to 20% less in 20 y to 30 y mortgage payments is a substantial benefit to ALL AMERICANS

Well JV, I got a flat and had to replace two rear tires at Costco yesterday. Two tires now cost what 4 tires did when Costco opened here ten years ago. Slightly higher than 2% inflation. I'm guessing tires aren't considered necessary by the FED in calculating inflation. After all, who needs tires?
