"Giving its pricing policy right now, AMD would probably sell its SFF boxes cheaply to make a dent in the corporate SFF" They don't make the boxes. I think they should and whitebox them through their ATI brand, but... Think about it for a moment. Those corporate SFF boxes sell for >$1k. There is no reason why a DTX box with non-discounted x2 5600+ processor and chipset can't sell for less that $650 with better than normal margins. The current equivalent from Dell with Intel is going to run you more than $1200. configure.us.dell.com Ok, $1150 if it is closer to this one configure.us.dell.com While you might be correct and AMD discounts even more in such an environment, they don't have to if they want to make that sale. It pretty much sells itself.
