They don't make the boxes. I think they should and whitebox them through their ATI brand, but...

Think about it for a moment. Those corporate SFF boxes sell for >$1k. There is no reason why a DTX box with non-discounted x2 5600+ processor and chipset can't sell for less that $650 with better than normal margins. The current equivalent from Dell with Intel is going to run you more than $1200.

While you might be correct and AMD discounts even more in such an environment, they don't have to if they want to make that sale. It pretty much sells itself.
