Have you ever grown them in the garden? Aphids just love them. I'd come out and the little sprouts would be just covered with them. I don't use chemicals so I stopped growing them. Makes you wonder what the commercial growers do?

Brussels Sprouts need to be swimming in melted butter and cheese with a good dash of salt. I've always liked them, but don't recall ever seeing them as I was growing up. For my brother and me, peas were the worst. Mom would make us eat one helping of them, no matter what. Today, I love the darn things.
