They obviously sent Wilson to make a fool of Cheney. Silly of them, since deadeye Dick was obviously capable of making a fool of himself. So, they got their war, and now that all the gloating triumphalism is over, it's all somebody else's fault that it turned out to be a big mess.

Come on Nadine. If you're going to debate, then debate with the facts.

Joe Wilson was very competent. He had been an ambassador and he spoke the language. He had connections.

In fact, he notes that when he came in unannounced, people already knew he was there and came to greet him.

In fact, if you're looking for hard evidence, you should send in someone who isn't a lackey. If he finds something then your argument is very much bolstered.

If, OTOH, you are looking for a rubber stamp of a forged document then you send in a lackey. Why would you want a lackey to determine whether conditions really exist for a war? Do you want them to send in a 25 year old party hack with zero experience as they did in Iraq?

Do you?

This is the problem with rightwingers. You want everyone else in the world to be held to a higher standard than yourselves. This is what causes the rest of us to dismiss rightwingers as simply useless.
