I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised at how the gravy comes out when you add a tomato product. Doesn't really change it that much except gives it a richer and a bit more tangy flavor. I like it either way.......it's just nice for a change.

And sometimes I go through the fridge after roast night and make a quick soup using the roast left overs and anything else I can find in there.
