Before any rescue, they should look at their bank account and credit history. If they can't come up with the 100k then screw em, they shouldn't be climbing mountains

OTOh if you charged full price for any rescue where the lost did not have gps, and a nominal fee for those with a gps, and required a deposit "rescue fee" before anyone climbed, things might work better.
