We just have to maintain our resolve to kill the bad guys.

Yes

The problem is that the bad guys are Islamic "heros".

Are they? Perhaps some media portrays them that way.

How can you arrest clerics for preaching fundamentalism to the Muslim youth.

There is a difference between preaching fundamentalism and preaching "jihad" or "holy war". Inciting youth to murder and suicide in the name of their god clearly crosses the boundary of religious freedom that is respected in pluralist democracies subject to rule of law. Clerics that do so should be prosecuted under the full extent of the law and/or deported.

None of the "moderates" care. I don't believe that is the case, but they are not heard in various media for some reason.

Clerics that teach jihad in the madras in Pakistan must also be dealt with or 1000's of new Taliban and Al Queada will continue to pour into Afghanistan every year. The issue of safe haven in Pakistan for the Taliban and Al Queada must also be dealt with.
