I can't tell if you meant that comment personally or as a general statement.

Personally, I can assure you I don't consider it any of my business how you choose to live, as long as it isn't to oppress others.

In general if you are referring to Muslims, they are a diverse population of billions. There is within that population every type of person from the saintly to the barbaric psycho ... no different what so ever than other populations. The majority spend little or no time attending to the chapter and verse of their religious texts or to the self important rantings of religious authorities ... just like other major populations of religious people. They may carry customs and conduct that was normal and innocuous in their land of heritage here to America, where they seem odd and difficult to relate to. What can I say... how about 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'. Some times you have to actually get involved with the book personally to understand it. The reviews are in but sometimes the critics are pompus ass's who are only telling the public what the sponsors want them to hear, and a negative critique sells. I prefer my own judgment ... but that's me.
