I never said that Muslims have any sort of lock on extreme cruelty.

OTOH it seems fairly clear that at the moment there is more of a problem with cruelty and terrorism coming from radical violent Muslims, then from other religions.

I'm not one to bash the whole religion with the acts of its worst members, and that includes Islam. There are a huge number of non-violent, reasonable, followers of Islam.

But its radical fringe is quite large and violent compared to many other radical fringes, and the earlier posts implying no difference between the religious right in the US (or at least its more radical elements) and say Al Qaeda, or other violent radical Islamic groups where not reasonable.
