hopefully with the offering today they can speed up their exploration plans for prestea and hwini-butre and bulk our reserves/resources so we dont get a lowball offer from newmont...

Could happen, but I think these guys have put in many years for a big pay-off and realize how undervalued it is right now. Plus, Bradford and Fagin own a ton of shares and should be aligned with the shareholders. I bet the institutional ownership is up since last December when prices were low, and up significantly after this issuance. Plus Nesbitt has options on the 3.60 price (3 million shares), so many people would like to see this puppy run a bit. Anyhow, if they get bought out, there will be a premium of some significance.
