Domestically, I'm pretty much a centrist, DLC territory (a territory the DNC seems to have abandoned lately) though you have to admit that the economy has been very strong under Bush, tho you wouldn't know it from reading the papers.

Somebody just did a study of reports on the economy in the NYT, the WaPo and the LAT, comparing 1996 and 2004. Both strong years economically, with inflation under 3%, unemployment just over 5%, and growth over 2%. Main difference is, 2004 had stronger growth, over 3.5%.

In 1996 the stories on the economy were 85% positive. In 2004 they were 77% negative.

Tell me there is no bias in the MSM.
