Glenn-

Very good and I agree with you there. I've been in this since Mel took over Sirius. It's been a hard road to travel but Mel knows his his business. It's gong to be an interesting Monday and Tuesday for us all. That article really shows some detail normally not known but assumed. Now at least it's been posted. I'm happy now at least I know something is getting done for the shareholders.

If this deal gets done, and I think that there are some real regulatory issues here, even our friend will have to agree that the combined companies will be stronger because Mel will be running things day-to-day.

I do believe XM's CEO cratered in the last couple years and that Mel would do a better job, no doubt. Hiring Mel was the most important thing that happened at SIRI in the last 2 years.

OTOH, I don't believe having Mel at the helm offsets (or even comes close to offsetting) the negatives XM is taking over in SIRI's financial mess, bloated contracts, etc. And I think the costs of doing the deal have been tremendously underestimated, with the end result being the billions in synergies will not materialize.

So, Mel good -- pretty much everything else bad.
