We have to remind ourselves sometimes how different wasabi sunnis are from islamist shiaa. The former proved on 9/11 that wmds and terrorism were a strategic weapon against the west to counter western military superiority world wide. Iran has used terror more tactically. Yes they have blood on their hands but there is a big difference between the two even if its only they are a state and have something to protect while al quada is a movement that has nothing at all to protect. Al Quaeda must be defeated and destroyed by any means necessary. Iran can be dealt with. You say the dems no this too but i worry about folks who dont have the stones to go after al quada at home the way bush and blair have. The left wing of the dems does not understand the strategic nature of the al q threat imo and they use "bush dropped the ball on afganistan and al queda" rhetoric merely as talking points against bush and are not vested with that belief. Scratch guys like chris and jttab and they think 9/11 was like somalia or lebanon/reagan and not a declaration of full scale war against your civilization by mad islamists. If you believe me and not them, you have to be very careful about supporting any and every democrat. Same for Wharf Rat. I think he understands the al queda threat but is totally blind to the crazy anti-israel muhajadeen left reprsented on this thread by certain posters.
