Some right winger convinced you the NEA is bad and that's good enough for you. You utterly lack the critical thinking skills to even understand why incentivising teacher pay is virtually impossible to implement without some serious blowback.

What's to understand? Same reason any union running a closed shop opposes merit pay. It takes power away from the union and gives it to the entity deciding on the merit pay.

I wondered if I was talking to a loyal brainwashed NEA member. No surprise you're against vouchers aka school choice.

Even though teachers can arrange choice for their own kids by getting a job where they want their kids to go and taking them with them. Height of hypocrisy to oppose it for the poor.
