And, are you grateful to the post war Vietnamese for intervening in Cambodia and ending the deadly brutality of Kmer Rouge there? Ed Yes, the Khmer Rouge were bad enough that you have to grateful to anyone who stopped them, just as I have to be grateful to Stalin for stopping Hitler on the Russian front in WWII. You know, just because I couldn't google up the totals in the first five minutes is hardly proof that nothing happened. Totals of dead under any communist collectivization plan are matters of estimate, like the 6 to 7 million Ukranians estimated starved at Stalin's orders. 500,000 people don't flee a relatively small country on desperate rickety boats because they are living good lives.
