Gem Stone:

Do you read your own postings? Spin? I simply placing your words into your own mouth in a vain effort to have you recognize how ludicrous it appeared.

Hey, why are you so defensive? I thought it was a korianic directive to lie to infidels for advantage, particularly in defense of islam and alah. Am I wrong? Doesn't every word and sentence in the koran stands upon its own merit? Did I miss something?

Reviewing your last post -- no spinning there. Yeah, right.

Again your retort suggests to me that rational, unemotional discussions with is islam may little more that disappointing. Disappointment seems almost axiomatic when discussions involve the understanding and compromise of sirah law – or tautologically, the irreconcilable religious/philosophical pre-suppositions of islam.

Could this explain why moderate islam is unable to take a meaningful stand against radical islam? It appears that moderate islam may lack the fortitude and conviction to scrutinize, criticize, and synchronize the koranic text with modern reality.
