So many shorts were already crucified and everybody who wanted in has bought stocks. Margin debt at record levels and everybody got complacent.. Might be a fast and brutal selloff.. That would be a sign the overall economy is still strong rather than quiet distribution..

Subprime mortgage market blowing up shrinks the buyer pool at the bottom dramatically putting more pressure on housing and creates more illiquidity up the chain..

Thank God we finally broke down here. This freaking market has been so overbought and bonus checks are coming this week...a 10-15% off sale on some of my favorites would be a nice present.
