I've been to Kicking Horse once.
Unfortunately during a dry year so it was icy and lousy.
I don't enjoy balls high rock hard moguls.
But, anyone I know who has skied it under good conditions loves it.
Its a good snow year there so it should be good.
The views from the upper lodge are unreal.
Good luck

JW

I skied kicking horse a few years back. Its a cool hill, lots of chutes. lots of terrain. some unbelievable views. but the air temps went warm like Pacific coast areas.

I'm at Snowbird right now, been here since Saturday. One of the best weeks I have ever had here. We had three to four feet of drifted in powder in Daltons Draw this morning and we were lucky enough to get first tracks in there. It seems the canyon road was closed until 2 PM today. Powder and trees were excellent despite most of the mountain being shut down for some reason. Gad 2 has been closed for maintenance the past couple days and the new peruvian lift didn't run today. Winds were gusting to 60+ on Hidden peak, the circ was fine but had a few rocks but with powder like this what is there to complain about ?
