Those comments make sense to me. Misallocation of capital into property now ending. Rather than upgrade your kitchen or buy a rental property many will keep some of the money in the bank instead especially with CD's and MM's now paying around 5% again..

Bernanke gets paid to help financial honchos make the big bucks as long as possible and unload as much of their risky assets as possible on dumb public bag-holders at grossly inflated prices.
